Jackson Kelly
XL "Professional" Placed my order for this guitar after seeing Marty Friedman (ex Megadeth guitarist) playing his in 1994. Couldn't afford the top of the line "Pro" model, so I opted for the XL (1 model below the neck-thru Pro). A year or two later I threw a pair of EMG's along with some black metal pickup rings and the guitar sounds amazingly huge! Deep, mean, and aggressive...still one of my main players.

Jackson Warrior
"Professional" Pretty much identical to the USA Warriors made at the same time period (1991-1992) with the exact same specs, hardware, and quality but a tad cheaper new. These top of the line "PRO" models were discontinued in the early-mid 90's because they were interfering with the USA made guitar sales of the same specs. Originally equipped with active wah rails (stacked at the bridge and the single at the neck all slanted. I routed the bridge cavity to accept the EMG and installed a flat black metal pickup ring to finish the job off. The neck rail is disconnected and I'm running it just with the V/T. One of my best playing guitars...

Jackson Warrior
"Professional" Purchased in June/'04. I'm a huge Warrior fan, so any early 90's Warriors either Japanese "Pros" or USA made ones I find I can't pass up. I bought this one already equipped with the EMG's and trem block installed. I pinstriped it to really set it apart. |
